George Clooney as a killer assassin in "The American." Drew Barrymore and Justin Long star in the rom-com "Going the Distance" about two lovers trying a long distance relationship. "Machete," a real B-movie from director Robert Rodriguez and getting rave reviews. And a triple feature at the Goochland Drive-In: "Nanny McPhee Returns," "The Switch" and "Piranha."

2. The River

3. Barbecue
Fire up your barbecue for hot dogs, burgers, kebabs or whatever. Invite the neighbors and throw down.
