Haunted Happenings

Malcolm Venable

Published: October 14, 1999

Unless you're way short and can imitate a pipsqueak's voice like a pro, your time for performing the sacred rites of trick or treating (i.e. pumpkin smashing and egg tossing) has expired and doing any of these activities may land your immature butt in jail. So do the adult thing: Cruise richmond.com's list for activities that excite your mischievous inner child and make your Halloween plans now. There are listings for family events, a nostalgic but casual night out, and the truly horrifying. Now turn off the lights, say "Bloody Mary," "Candyman," or whatever else gives you the creeps and find an event suitable for that RuPaul costume you've been hiding in your closet. (And if you really want to scare people, wear it to work the next day.) Halloween Events Clubs/Bars Banditos-- 733 W. Cary St. 343-1177
