Spotsylvania police received what they call welcome news in connection with the Lisk-Silva murder investigation.
After the murders were profiled on "America's Most Wanted," police say they have 22 new leads. Sixteen-year-old Sofia Silva disappeared from her front porch four years ago this month. Her body was found a month later in a King George County pond.
In May 1997, 15-year-old Kristin Lisk and her 12-year-old sister Kati vanished from their yard. Their bodies were found a week later in the South Anna river. Forensic evidence has linked the killings.
A task force is offering a $150,000 reward for tips that lead to an arrest. If you can offer any new leads, call the Lisk-Silva hotline at 1-800-729-1411.
