Mother's Day Gifts

Forgive me for sounding like a Hallmark card, but moms really are some special ladies. From the day we're born to, let's face it, well past those mandatory 18 years of care, they've put up with dirty diapers, spit-up, temper-tantrums in crowded stories, the 13-year-old raging hormone years and well beyond.

And if we're going to be honest here, chances are not all of us have been the very best children when it comes to thanking our moms for all their hard work they do.

I distinctly remember giving my mother a Eurosealer one year for Mother's Day – the device that "seals any bag airtight" and has a "magnetic back that clings to the refrigerator easily."

I thought she would appreciate it because she always would complain when my sister or I would leave a bag of chips a little less than closed all the way … or completely wide open.
