Anderson & Strudwick Hires Three Deal Makers

Anderson & Strudwick , a Richmond-headquartered brokerage and investment banking firm, has hired three experienced investment bankers who had formerly worked at Ferris, Baker Watts .

Michael E. Mendelson , J. Matthew Carr and Clayton M. Jones together had been involved in more than 30 deals over the past three years that raised in excess of $4 billion.

The investment bankers' expertise is securing American financing for companies traded on foreign exchanges. Their work will complement that of other Anderson & Strudwick investment bankers who have been assisting U.S. and foreign companies seeking financing and related services, the company explained in a press release .  

Washington, D.C.-based Ferris Baker Watts, announced in February that it would be acquired by RBC Dain Rauscher .
