OK, we know we’re awful, but unless someone actually dies (again), the stampede through the front door of a store on opening morning is pretty freakin’ hilarious.
Wake Up Calls from Ice-T
Remember when Target did this a few years ago? You could pick your favorite celebrity to give you an early morning wake up call for Black Friday shopping. One of us chose Ice-T. He said, "yo, it’s early, get yourself out of bed and get over to Target," or something to that effect.

The Deals
Even though we think it’s statistically more likely that a person will win the lottery than actually pick up something on super-sale on Black Friday morning, we have to admit, those deals are pretty tempting. An iPod Nano for $25? Sounds great until you read the fine print: only 4 per a store in the state of Virginia; must be first in line, beginning at the southeast loading dock of the store. Customers must be in line no later than 5:17 a.m. but no earlier than 5 a.m. If you happen to find a Nano shoved behind some boxes in the appliance section, the offer is void.

Black Friday gives us some good ideas for costumes for an "ugly Christmas Sweater" party.
The Early Bird Catches Something
We love getting up at 4 a.m. to spend $500 that we don’t have on something that we don’t need (read: sarcasm).
And Then …
We love being late to work because we got up at 2 a.m. to go shopping and still managed to shop past 9 a.m.
Parking
Being able to find prime parking spots at work that day because everyone else is parking at the mall.
The Aftermath
There’s nothing quite like watching TV news footage that night of the scuffles that ensued around the country as the stores open their doors at 4 a.m. It's like the iBook fiasco all over again.
