No Carytown New Year's Eve?!
Rumors were swirling and now it's official.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch is reporting that the Carytown Merchants Association won't be hosting the Carytown New Year's Eve event this year. Read all about it here.
This would have been the fourth year for the Carytown New Year's Eve event.
In the past, the event has attracted thousands of people from Richmond and beyond. It was the one big public event for New Year's Eve in the city of Richmond and seemed to capture the heart of Richmonders with the ball drop from the Byrd Theatre and the street party atmosphere.
