                <description><![CDATA[Lexington, Kentucky group Englishman performed at Tuesday night's Listening Room show (which was amazing by the way. Jonathan and company did an awesome job putting that together.) and I was marveled at how simple their sound was and yet powerful at the same time. Englishman's vocal harmonies were beautifully intertwined with just a guitar and keyboard.I immediately went home and checked out all their music online (I should have bought their album but had no cash on me).Englishman draws influences from folk and indie pop to create a sweet and disarming EP called Taxidermy.Double Torch]]></description>

A Threnody for Orchestra and Pipa.&#8220; If this music were a movie, it would be one you watch only once, in horror. Composer Bright Sheng wrote the work in memory of the victims of the 1937 massacre of civilians in Nanking, China, by Japanese soldiers.
