Richmond rockers Lamb of God recently announced their new tour, including 25 shows with Metallica and 25 with Richmond's own GWAR.

The tour promotes their latest, "Wrath," and will take them to 50 stops across the United States, Canada and London, ending at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Update: And they've added a show at The National with GWAR on Friday, October 23. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 14 and can be found right here on the website.

They'll also be playing at Cville's JPJ Arena on October 17 or D.C.'s 9:30 Club on November 11.

In May, Lamb of God appeared at Carytown's Plan 9 for signings before their concert at The National.

Their sixth studio album, "Wrath," debuted at number 2 on the Billboard chart and is on target to be the band's biggest worldwide selling record. They began opening the stage for Metallica last December, which the band said brought them to a new level, exposure-wise. In 2007, they were nominated for a Grammy for their fifth album, "Sacrament."
