Richmond heavy metal band Lamb of God are celebrating their latest accomplishment - a nomination for a Grammy Award in the “Best Metal Performance” category for the track “Set to Fail” from their #2 debuting album “Wrath.”
They will go up against metal heavyweights Judas Priest, Megadeth, Ministry and Slayer.
This will be the second time they are up for the award, as they were previously nominated in the “Best Metal Performance” category for their song “Redneck” from their 2006 album “Sacrement.”
The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will take place on January 31, 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
