Calling all zombies and zombie fans, you don't have to wait for the Zombie Walk in Carytown on Oct. 24 to see locals dressed up like zombies and dripping gore.
"Zombieland," the new zombie flick starring Woody Harrelson is bringing the local zombies out to the streets.
The first Richmond Zombie Walk will be this Thursday, Oct. 1 at Regal Virginia Center 20.
The Zombie Walk is open to the public. Just dress up and join in. The processions starts at 9:45 p.m. and, according to organizers, will be lead by Leonard Lies (Machete Zombie from “Dawn of the Dead”) and Frank Serrao (Grey Suit Zombie from “Dawn of the Dead”).
The second Zombie Walk is Saturday, Oct. 3 at Regal Southpark Mall in Colonial Heights.
The zombies will be walking the mall at noon in honor of "Zombieland." Again, open to the public and all self-dressed zombies. If you don't have time to dress up, bring a canned good for the food driveand the theater will have a make up artist on-site to give you the zombie once-over.

Stay tuned, we'll have a review of "Zombieland" from Mike Ward later this week. Word on the street is that it's a zombie movie a cut (ahem) above the pack.
