Music fans crowded into the basement at St. James Episcopal Church Tuesday evening to hear the music of Tim Barry, formerly of the punk band Avail.

The only rule of the Listening Room is no talking during the performances, which made for a more intimate show.

Also playing were Jonathan and Alan Parker under the name Paw Paw and Andy Cobb from the Itchy Hearts.

The Listening Room occurs every third Tuesday of the month at the Michaux House at St. James Episcopal Church.
