The Byrd Theatre still needs help collecting money to restore the building and pay for recent damages.
You can help out by seeing “The Best Worst Movie You’ve Never Seen.”
On Aug. 30, the Byrd Theatre will host a screening of the 1980s never-before-seen film Rock ‘n’ Roll Hotel as part of Style Weekly’s Richmond Premiere of ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Hotel,’" a benefit for The Byrd Theatre, with co-sponsors The Jefferson Hotel and To the Bottom and Back Bus.
The film was filmed at the Jefferson Hotel and features tons of Richmond extras. It was also Judd Nelson’s film debut.
The screening is set to take place at 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 30. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
There is also a VIP reception at the Jefferson Hotel before the screening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 in advance of $45 at the door. To The Bottom and Back is providing transportation from the reception to the Byrd.
