Everyone has heard by now that an ice skating rink is coming to downtown Richmond.
The wait is over.
"RVA on Ice," the city's new ice skating rink is open as of, Wednesday, Dec. 22. The ice rink is behind Richmond CenterStage at 6th Street, on the Broad Street side.
HOURS:
Monday - Wednesday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Thursday - Sunday Noon to 10 p.m.
SPECIAL HOLIDAY HOURS
December 24 Noon to 5 p.m.
December 25 Closed
December 31 Noon to 5 p.m.
January 1 Closed
ADMISSION & SKATE RENTALS
General Admission $5
Senior Admission (60 & up with ID) $4
Military Admission (with ID) $4
Children 10 and under FREE (must be accompanied by paid guardian)
Skate Rental $5
Skate Rental, Children 10 and under $3
The rink will be open in the evenings until Jan. 9, 2011.
