If you like tasty dining, live music and sampling some of the best cooking Richmond has to offer, then you're in luck.
On Sunday, June 6, the third annual Broad Appétit will take place from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the 100-200-300 blocks of West Broad Street.
Broad Appétit is Richmond’s premiere food festival, featuring over 50 local restaurants, which come together to showcase their finest cuisine. On Sunday, each chef will prepare small portioned entrées for $3 a piece and vendors will be on site selling local produce, meats, cheeses, herbs and artisan bread.
In short, Broad Appétit is a food lover’s paradise with prices that will leave you satisfied … and with money in your pocket.
Not only do you get to eat delicious foods from all over town, but you might get a chance to pick up a few coooking tips yourself. In addition to great food and good music, there will be five cooking demos held throughout the day by some of Richmond’s finest chefs.
Broad Appetit is hosted by the Downtown Neighborhood Association; a Richmond area non-profit that works with local businesses and residents to improve the quality of our downtown community. The event benefits the Central Virginia Food Bank, as well as Meals On Wheels.
Come over to Broad Street this Sunday and enjoy great food, good music and a fun filled day in downtown Richmond.
