The 48 Hour Film Project is coming back to Richmond July 22-24.
The 48 Hour Film Project is a weekend where filmmaking teams make a movie - writing, shooting, editing and scoring – all in 48 hours.
On Friday night, filmmakers get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue, and a genre and 48 hours later, the finished movie must be turned in. The following weekend, all submitted films will be premiered on the big screen at the Byrd Theatre.
Registration opens Tuesday, May 24. Each year, the project is filled to capacity, so be sure to register early.
