Update:We finally have an opening date for BlowToad! Friday, Feb. 3, starting at 5 p.m. for dinner. Lunch won't start until next week.
And now the updated hours from BlowToad on Facebook and Twitter:
"We're open! Thanks for your patience. Open for dinner Friday and
Saturday 5-2:00 a.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to Midnight (1/2 priced pizza during the game) and next week: Tues - Thu 5-Midnight, Fri-Sat until 2 a.m. Open for lunch beginning Tuesday February 14th. Closed Mondays until April."

One of the most anticipated new restaurants of the year could be opening any day now – maybe!
I know, I know, it’s a vague opening date, but we’ve received enough reader questions about the opening that we thought it was worth an update.
BlowToad, the new pizza spot from Chef Jimmy Sneed that’s in the works in the old Double Ts, was slated to open this month, and it still might – depending on who you ask.
Calls to the restaurant result in different answers, with one staffer saying the restaurant will open in a week or two, and another saying Monday, Jan. 30 (Chef Sneed was not available to ask). Over on BlowToad’s Facebook page, however, the opening is touted as happening at the end of this week.
We have heard that the restaurant has been doing a friends and family trial run since last weekend, so if you see people dining in the space across from the Byrd Theatre, that’s why. But either way, Richmonders will get to taste the new menu very, very soon.
We'll let you know when it's official - maybe! (Kidding, we will.)
