Venture Richmond's outdoor concert series, Friday Cheers, returns to Brown's Island on May 4, bringing new bands, national acts and Richmond's hometown talent.
- May 4 – Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, with The Preservation, $5.
- May 11 – Carolina Chocolate Drops, with The Inflatables, $5.
- May 18-20 – Dominion Riverrock, featuring Galactic, The Travelin’ McCourys featuring Keller Williams and JJ Grey & Mofro, FREE.
- May 25– RVA Music Night featuring Richmond bands: Three Sheets to the Wind, The Trillions and Photosynthesizers, $5.
- June 1 – Chris Young with Honky Tonk Heroes, $10.
- June 8 – ALO with Former Champions, $5.
- June 15 – Dawes with Sara Watkins, $5.
- June 22 – Alabama Shakes, with Robert Ellis, $5.
- June 29 – A special evening honoring Ralph White, with proceeds to benefit the James River – Trampled By Turtles, with Goldrush, $10.
