Is Richmond the best tennis town in America? We could be …


Richmond is in the running to be named the top tennis town in country, according to The United States Tennis Association.


Our city was just announced as one of top 10 finalists out of 82 towns across the country. The 2010 Best Tennis Town winner, who will be named at the end of August during the 2010 US Open in Flushing Meadows, will win a $100,000 "to be used for community-wide programming or tennis facility enhancements."


The voting to determine the winner is open to the public from July 16 through July 26, 2010 at besttennistown.com (one vote per email address) so log-on today, Richmond, and help make us the best tennis town in the country.
