»  Comments | Post a Comment

About 100 people turned out yesterday for a free screening of "Living for 32," a documentary which follows Colin Goddard after the Virginia Tech shooting

Afterwards, supporters headed to the State Capitol's Bell Tower for an MLK Day Prayer Vigil and Lie-in with readings from the works of Dr King. The vigil was held to remember all those hurt by gun violence and pray for peace.

Check out photos here from the vigil.

Earlier in the day, about 300 pro-gun advocates came together at the state Capitol to rally for their rights to bear arms. Read the full story with TimesDispatch.com's "Gun debate reaches State Capitol on 'lobby day.'"
