Farmers' markets are in full swing and Richmond has plenty to choose from. Wherever you go you'll find produce, baked goods, live music and plenty of community. To keep things simple, we thought we’d give you all the details on the various markets. Buying local has never been so easy.

At most every one of the market’s listed below you will find all, or a combination of, local produce, meat, dairy, baked goods, prepared foods, crafts, art and jewelry.

MONDAY. Nada. But it's dollar taco night at Little Mexico.

TUESDAY

Byrd House Market
This popular market is located at 224 S. Cherry St. and runs through October. It’s open every Tuesday afternoon (3:30 to 7 p.m.).

The Tricycle Gardens Farm Stand
Now serving their own grown produce and Lamplighter coffee.  Located at 2107 Jefferson Ave (Church Hill) and open Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00-6:00pm

WEDNESDAY

Lakeside Farmers Market
One block south of Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens (6110 Lakeside Ave.), the Lakeside Farmers' Market runs through December and is open two days of the week.

Wednesday there are two times: 8 a.m. to noon and 3 to 7 p.m.

The Souther of the James Market
Located in the old Blockbuster parking lot at 4910 Forest Hill Avenue. From April-October, it's open Wednesdays (3 p.m.-8 p.m.)

West End Farmers Market
The West End Farmers Market is located at the intersection of Gayton Road and Ridgefield Parkway (12450 Gayton Road) and is open 3-7 p.m. The market runs now until Oct. 31.

THURSDAY

17th Street Farmers’ Market
Richmond's orginial market, located in Shockoe Bottom, at 100 N. 17th St.
Three different days to chose from, on Thursdays (until Oct.) the hours are: 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Huguenot-Robious Farmers’ Market
On the Southside in Bon Air, this one is held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at a parking lot in the Great Big Greenhouse, at 2051 Huguenot Road. Mainly local produce, and some crafts through October 27.

Whole Foods Farmer’s Market
All of the products are locally grown and locally handcrafted. Pick up goods from 4 to 7 p.m., at 11173 West Broad Street.

FRIDAY

Chesterfield Farmers’ Market
Another Southside option, ( 9 a.m.-1 p.m.) at Chesterfield Towne Center, at the Huguenot Road entrance. Will run until the beginning of December.

SATURDAY

17th Street Farmers' Market
Richmond's orginal market, located in Shockoe Bottom, at 100 N. 17th St.
Saturdays and Sundays 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. until Dec. 3, 2011.

Ashland Farmers' Market
Located 20 minutes north of Richmond, the Ashland Farmers Market at 100 Duncan St. offers plenty for any market lover. Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon until October.

Brandermill Green Market
More than twenty vendors to chose from and live music even.

At the Market Square Shopping Center, at Hull Street and Old Hundred Road, (10 a.m.-2 p.m).

Lakeside Farmers' Market
One block south of Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens (6110 Lakeside Ave.), the Lakeside Farmers' Market runs April through December 24th,  8 a.m. to noon.

Monument Market
At the corner of Monument Avenue and North Robinson Street, the Monument Market is well underway. The market runs until the beginning October and is open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

Petersburg Farmers' Market
30 minutes south of Richmond, the Petersburg Farmers' Market offers plenty of local goods to the community. It takes place at 400 N. Sycamore St. through October and is open 7 a.m. to noon.

South of the James Market
Running now until the end of the year, the South of the James Market takes place at Forest Hill Park. Get there early because it’s only open from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Market at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church
Every Saturday from 8 a.m until noon, head over to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church at 6000 Grove Ave. for food, crafts and other local goods. The market runs until October.

My Goochland Market
Now the market for Goochland and Short Pump, this one is located at 68 West Broad Street Road in Manakin-Sabot. Open 8 a.m.-noon thruough Oct. 29, 2011.

West End Farmers Market
The West End Farmers' Market is located at the intersection of Gayton Road and Ridgefield Parkway (12450 Gayton Road). Open 8 a.m. to noon.

SUNDAY
