The bill that would require women about to undergo abortions to receive a "trans-vaginal ultrasound" received national attention from the New York Times to the Daily Show and Saturday Night Live.

On Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, over 1,000 people showed up to the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond to protest the bill.
