Update: We won! On Friday, CultureMap opened up voting for America's next hipster city, and Richmond won - in a landslide - with 72 percent of the vote!
Now CultureMap writes, "Congratulations, Richmond, you're the next hipster city of America. With that being said, let me tell you what comes with that honor."
It includes: "pedicabs, more music festivals than you'll know what to do with, random Ryan Gosling sightings, a W Hotel and gluten-free, dairy-free air sandwiches."
Oh! We say, "in!" And guess what, CultureMap, we're halfway there. Gluten hasn't passed an RVAer's lips in months! Unless PBR has gluten ... or small plates? Kimchee?

Update: CultureMap has opened up voting for America's next hipster city - help Richmond win, because internet voting is almost as hipster as PBR. Almost.

The new hipster cities of America: Who's emerging as the "next Austin"?
Could Richmond be the best next Austin? According to CultureMap, "Austin's Daily Digital Magazine," we could be!
Richmond got a shout-out in a piece this week called "The new hipster cities of America: Who's emerging as the "next Austin"?" ranking in some of the hipster-est cities in the country.
Sure, we didn’t make the official ranking (Chattanooga, Asheville, Burlington and Detroit got those), but we were one of three cities listed as runners-up, largely due to our mention last year on The Rumpus as one of the most inhabitable cities for hipsters.
Yay RVA!
