The February issue of Wired Magazine credits a Richmonder with the first Tweet about last summer’s earthquake.
According to the article, "Eyewitness Tweets," CeeJay Price (@JordnJnkieJuice) tweeted just 24 seconds after the earthquake, succinctly tweeting: "EARTHQUAKE!!!!!"
The article, which is not yet online (oh, print publications), is about "everyday people" using Twitter to break "extraordinary news."
Congrats to #rva for breaking the news on what the rest of Twitter would (stupidly) call the D.C. earthquake. Clearly, it was ours (well, Mineral’s. The most recent aftershock was felt there Monday night).
