We’ll be honest, there’s absolutely no Richmond connection to the British study that recently found that when it comes to parking cars, women do it better than men.
No Richmond connection at all! But we, the 3/4 female staff at Richmond.com, felt that this was international news that urgently needed to be shared.
The study by British car park firm NCP not only found that women do a better job parking cars than men, but they actually find better spaces when they do.
Oh, and when reversing into spaces, women do this better, too.
Sure, the study also found that men parked quicker than women (by five seconds), but, really, what’s five seconds when it comes to parking properly and in a better space?
So ladies, if it’s always seemed like your husband / boyfriend / brother is a crappy parker compared to yourself, you’re right! He is! A British study has confirmed, so it’s officially OK to say "I told you so."
