Carytown merchants will come together to keep their doors open late and offer specials for the public this Thursday at Carytown First.
Formerly known as Fashion First, Carytown First will still be held on the first Thursday of every month starting in July. The reason for the change from fashion to just Carytown? Now it will include restaurants and merchants of any kind (of course, fashion included).
Cary Street stores will stay open at least until 8 p.m. this Thursday and restaurants will participate with special offers and deals. Click here for the full list of deals
The Carytown Merchants Association says they got the idea from the success of Broad Street’s First Friday Art Walk.
Next month’s Carytown First will be held the Thursday before the Watermelon Festival on August 9, 2009.
